SolidWorks Class at SAMI

Solidworks at SAMIInstructor Cindra Drowne-Walsh and SAMI Machine training participants share ideas during their SolidWorks class on January 22nd.  SolidWorks is an important part of the SAMI Machine Program curriculum.  SolidWorks is a solid modeling computer aided design (CAD) and computer aided engineering software program used to create models and assemblies.  Many of the participants pictured are close to completion of the program and already connected to employment opportunities.  Having a SolidWorks background in addition to manual and CNC skills has made the participants much more marketable to employers seeking skilled entry level machinists.
